I know I’m old by Tumblr standards but that cannot be just me.
A few years ago I started seeing references to “VCs” doing this and that and I was like “Viet Cong? That cannot be right” and had to be told (and later remind myself) “venture capitalist.”
The other meanings are not on my radar at all.
