the moment misogyny intersects with homophobia everybody seems to shut their brain off. last time this discourse kicked up I saw a lesbian (!) genuinely argue that “nobody is forcing lesbians to be with men” on the replies of a post and the op, not a lesbian, had to gently explain that that’s the very first thing that happens to lesbians under the patriarchy. let’s cut the unnecessary crap and get to the point everyone seems to be orbiting around: are lesbians bourgeois?
