whats one tip and/or trick you learned about photomanip that you wish you knew when you were starting out?

The less work you have to do to edit an image, the better it will look! Sounds counter-intuitive, but if you’re mashing images together that have similar lighting, colours, perspectives etc, you don’t have to do a lot to make them match!

You don’t even have to be really good at photoshop if you take the time to take your own matching pictures and then combine them. You substitute edit time with prep time, but it’s another way of doing things! For example, this old old edit from 2019 was actually super easy to put together (and still looks quite good for the level of skill I had at the time), because I spent some time taking my own background picture and then taking a self-portrait in a place with the same angle and lighting!
