And here I am on Webtoons and Tapas!

I adore my low voice. It’s pretty, it has a unique feel to it, and it’s mine. I worked really hard on it, and all that work paid off.

My secret little tip for voice training? Learn impressions! I worked out my voice by doing impressions of Lillith (The Owl House), Meg (Hercules)/Rose Quartz (Steven Universe), and Frieren (The Dub version, specifically.) I mixed those voices together with my own inflection to make something that’s really mine.

I’m not stuck with it. It’s stuck with me.

Low femme voices ARE hot. For about a decade I was hung up on a woman who sounded like she smoked a pack and drank a fifth of whiskey every day, mostly because of how gorgeous and husky her voice was.
