yaoi in esperanto wouldn't be yaoio?
All nouns in Esperanto end ofc in “o” so there would be an O at the end. However, if we want to transliterate it into Esperanto, we gotta change that Y for a J. In Wiktionary the translation section for the English entry for “YAOI” claims that the Esperanto term is “yaŭojo”, which is very not reliable-looking seeing how it’s spelled with a Y, how I haven’t found that word anywhere else in the internet, and because personally I wouldn’t base myself on the English pronunciation of YAOI.
I think I did use “jaŭjo” in one post before, I think?
In the meanwhile I guess I will use “YAOI”, but “YAOIo” if I need to decline into “YAOIon” in the accusative. I don’t know well how Esperanto deals with this type of loan words.
If anyone happens to know what Esperantists call YAOI and YURI please let me know.
