Yeah stabbing Caesar is great and all, but the lesson we should all take from the Ides of March is if your insurrectionary actions create a massive power vacuum, you fucking better have a plan to stop an even more autocratic despot from stepping in, deifying the dude you killed, and casting you as history’s villains for the next thousand years.
