Context: During the Anura era, lamb had placed all their focus on killing heket and gathering as much devotion as possible. Which led to ignoring the cult’s needs other than keeping them alive (at the bare minimum). This created tensions, frustration, rejecting the lamb’s word. Results in a number of dissenters planning to take them out. No matter how it is done. It was completely unexpected to them (the lamb was going to rest before they showed up).
This devastated the lamb bc at this moment, they loved their flock and saw them as family. And they have had a bad experience with families. So when they come back to life, they immediately resurrect those who attacked them and punish them accordingly. Maybe excessive but they’re running on extra god power, courtesy of toww, and past trauma.
