Remember: the more difficult you make it for them to realize a report is false, the more useless you make the portal.
if you’re spamming stuff like this make sure you don’t mention real individuals or institutions. absolutely make it difficult for them to determine if a report is fake or not
but at the same time DOGE very notably has been shutting down a number of essential programs because they have the words “transition” (as in, transition housing. Or transition planning, as well as all the ones serving trans people) and “equity” (like IRS programs that look at things like tax equity) or similar words in their descriptions
a lot of these sorts of reports aren’t going to be followed up by good-faith investigation—Trump, the heritage foundation (the people behind project 2025), and many other people in this administration or behind the scenes have publicly said they want to eradicate the department of education: they will indiscriminately fire people who get mentioned in these sorts of reports AND will likely not rehire anyone to fill those roles
and they’ll likely happily shut down entire institutions that are mentioned with no investigation wherever they have the power to do so (and even at some points where they obviously do not have said authority)
also they will likely use algorithms to determine who and which programs to axe—AI programs that trawl the replies to these sorts of forms. not people
the current government leaders have no interest in eliminating exclusively DEI initiatives. this is not going to be a surgical strike—there are going to be a lot of firings and terminations of programming that are blamed on “DEI” but are just intended to destroy public education (while scapegoating DEI for propaganda purposes)
so do NOT name actual places, organizations, or individuals in your responses
because these people are not doing any kind of due diligence, they don’t care who or what gets caught in the crossfire (is it really crossfire when the “crossfire” is the whole point? debatable)
your government is actively trying to destroy all public education: do not provide them with the excuse to do so
none of the people involved in this process give one shred of a damn about the truth. they are not going to “run down” these reports
so yeah—write something an AI can’t obviously recognize as fake. but write something that will make them look incompetent and ridiculous that if they try to use your response as justification for their actions
