with the way apps & services are named these days you can just say a completely made-up word in conversation like “oh yeah i saw this on Spingl” and nobody will ask what Spingl is out of fear of looking out of touch
the problem i keep running into is that i try to make up the name of a fake social media site (or whatever) but then i google it and it actually exists
