How did you get wrist strain from reading a book. Please tell me it’s because they’re so thick and heavy. That would be so funny.

there’s a poem at the start of A Suitable Boy by Vikram Seth (at one point the fattest novel in the world) and the last lines invite you to:

Buy me before good sense insists

You’ll strain your purse and sprain your wrists.
