They already tried this line with “defund the police:” it’s a vague demand! People don’t know what it means! It’s actually very specific and concrete, and it means exactly what it says, which is why it’s “highly charged.” That’s how demands work!
The only reason it’s “vague” is because people pretend the demand is hyperbolic so they don’t have to accept it. We say “ceasefire” and they say “obviously we can’t cease fire, you must be asking for something else”
