In the N64 era, “Big Head Mode” was invented (or at least popularized) and there were several games that implemented it as a cheat code or unlockable setting.
But since then, thousand if not millions of games have been released, and the vast majority of them have not included this feature, despite it being easy to implement in a 3D engine, especially with the advent of skeletal animation.
I’m tempted to start a new patreon where I just release patches for games to have Big Head Mode re-added. With the commonality of Unity and Unity Marketplace assets, a large number of games could be trivially big-headed all at once!
I forgot to mention that the point of the patron was to be so people could vote on the next game to be big-headed.
