I feel like the fucking joker whenever I read a post saying [group of queer people] is The Most Oppressed bc I’m sitting there as if I’m not part of the only group in which systematic sterilization and mutilation at birth is a standard medical practice nearly worldwide. (Which is actually an improvement considering we used to just be murdered upon being born, and we still are in some places)
I’m not making this post to tell you that intersex people are The Most Oppressed.
I AM telling you that giving ANY group that label will minimize the issues of other horrifically targeted groups of people.
GIVING ANY GROUP THE LABEL OF MOST OPPRESSED WILL MINIMIZE THE ISSUES OF OTHER HORRIFICALLY TARGETED GROUPS OF PEOPLE.
