The right meds should not “alter you forever” I don’t care what facebook moms say. The right meds will lift the weight from your shoulders and you’ll get VERY ANGRY for a bit because everyone else had it this easy the whole time???? I highly recommend trying out some of the medication available for ADHD.
Oh hey btw: that period thing is directly linked to estrogen levels. It’s never been studied in transfemmes, but based on my own medication, discussion with my psych, and looking through primary literature, transfemme ADHD symptoms are 100% related with estrogen levels based on your medication schedule. Whatever you think about transfemme periods, that’s highly likely. Symptoms are typically worse when E is low, just like ADHD symptoms are worse during PMS.
