I am trying to add alt text to the posts I create when I remember or can, sometimes it’s hard because it’s comics but it just feels bad to not to add them while I write about a character who is fully blind and talks about how frustrating it is to not to find things for visually impaired people where they’re supposed to be.
I’m not saying all of you MUST do this and that if you don’t do it you’re all bad people, not everyone has time or patience to do so, but I think it’s important 👉👈
I was born with hearing impairment and while I wish there were subtitles irl (hearing aids do not fix the whole problem), I’m glad to have the chance to make things a bit easier for visually impaired people ❤️
