It’s interesting how Israel constantly works to conflate Israel the state and Israel the people (all jews). They so hard want to be the be all end all representative of all jews in the public eye (without actually representing them). I’ve literally seen people calling Israel’s attempts to turn Israel into a geographic concept antisemitic because they are in effect trying to make it so that you are only truly Israeli (A jew) if you are a citizen of Israel the state, which isn’t very nice towards the Jews that don’t like genocides and ethnic cleansing, like the one they literally suffered.
