A pretty strange aspect of the current accelerated genocide in Ghazzah is the simultaneous terror and boredom. Because there’s literally fucking nothing to do when society has collapsed and all infrastructure has been destroyed. This is why there’s plenty of videos of people sitting together and singing, or going to the beach to hang out, or coming up with activities for the kids in refugee camps to lift their moods.
Not that any of this matters to anyone who’s already scrutinizing genocide survivors to this extent. If you can, with full confidence, already decide you know more than Palestinians about Palestinians, and go far enough to dehumanize us, accuse all the Ghazzans on tumblr of being scams or fake because they do things you wouldn’t do or speak in a way you’re not familiar, you have dehumanized us completely. You do not see us as people and you’re not looking to empathize, sympathize, or try to understand the circumstances of Ghazzawiyeh and that they’re just doing their best to deal with them.
