A sunny autumn day, leaves blow from the trees and two runners enter the park. One carries a coffee and the other has a lead attached to a dog who runs ahead ethusiastically. The first runner says “I’mtoobusytoreadsoIstartedlisteningtoaudiobooksat2xspeed.It’sincrediblehowmuchyoucangetthroughthatway.” The second runner replies “MetooI’vefinishedTolstoyandIshouldbedonewithProustbytheendoftheweek.” (In case your reader messes up the dialogue, it is the following exchange with no spaces, intended to evoke the feeling of hearing text at 2x speed: “I’m too busy to read so I started listening to audiobooks at 2x speed. It’s incredible how much you can get through that way.” “Me too I’ve finished Tolstoy and I should be done with Proust by the end of the week”)ALT
