I want a management sim that’s a historically accurate castle builder. I think I would learn a lot.
“Derin that wouldn’t be an adventure of building grand castles, you’d spend 90% of the game hoarded up in a small stone box with a board on the door or harvesting reeds to make rushlights and hoping you have enough wood and food for the winter” yeah I know what I said.
I just feel like my knowledge of fact vs theme park shit in this area is severely lacking and I’d rather play a computer game about it than read sixty seven history books and try to figure out which ones are mistaken. If Civ II could get my brother to learn basic world history this way then I’m confident I could learn basic castle life from a management sim. I know there’s someone out there with an obsessive knowledge of medieval life and a basic interest in game design who can do it.
