whatever you think about the PRC or the CPC, if you try to equivocate between usamerican imperialism and ‘chinese imperialism’ you out yourself as knowing absolutely nothing about history!

since 1945, one of these countries has been involved in three brief border conflicts and intervened directly in the korean war. the other waged the korean war, as well as invading or bombing vietnam, laos, cambodia, iraq, afghanistan, grenada, libya, panama, haiti, et cetera and sponsoring or providing direct military aid to right-wing coups in brazil, chile, argentina, costa rica, albania, iran, guyana, congo, cuba, venezuela, syria, bolivia, the philippines, indonesia, greece, syria again, nicaragua, el salvador, et cetera… no matter how much you believe in “state capitalism” or whatever if you cannot acknowledge the titanic gulf between these two foreign policies you are not worth taking seriously!

Ok, is no one going to mention the hundreds of US military bases in foreign countries all around the world??

China sure as hell doesn’t have that

The median country with a military base in a foreign country (there are like a dozen) has 1 to 2 bases each

China has one.

The US has 800

That’s 800 times more military bases
