As a criminal justice student, I will say this is pretty accurate and extremely valuable info that everyone should know. Learn it.
Quick warning that the post doesn’t really go into: DO NOT OPEN THE FUCKING DOOR UNTIL YOU HAVE A VALID WARRANT. Sometimes, I do not have personal experience as to the frequency, a cop (see: bastard) will stick their foot in the door when you open it so you cannot close it again, and if you try to force it shut you will be “assaulting” an officer.
