Transmisogyny so bad I once heard a transwoman in a circle full of queer people try to read out loud this post:
And didn’t get to finish it until 30 min later because it made people so uncomfortable one person kept interrupting about how “that just sounds like woman stuff” and another was talking about how “trans masc and non-binary people have it really bad” and it turned into an argument with the trans woman trying to explain transmisogyny on two fronts. I thought that it was resolved when another transwoman walked up from where we were near the circle and was like “I actually wanted to hear what you had to say, could you actually read that post without anyone else talking” which she followed with a withering look to the circle. I thought. I thought that it was resolved. I thought until the next day someone from this situation came to me in private to be like “wow she was really angry and yelling and problematic, what was up with that omg what is wrong with her”
