Cannot express enough how much I despise “paid” mobile game sponsorship offers.

I’d be able to do so much with $7240, but the requirements to earn that are absolutely insane. There’s no base pay for doing any streams or promotion, and there’s no payout unless you recruit 50 whales who THEN go on to spend hundreds if not thousands in microtransactions to raise their level.

Just a deeply disingenuous way of operating.

Disingenuous is low-balling it. You just described a literal pyramid scheme.

Not surprising with this kind of game-business but that is still hilarious.

Yeah, it’s frustrating - I’ve only ever been paid to play a game twice in my entire time of streaming and it was under $75 both times which is amazing, don’t get me wrong. But there’s other creators out there who fall victim to this predatory sponsorship stuff.

The Hello Fresh one was also terrible. They want you to completely brand your stream with Hello Fresh stuff and just become a mouthpiece for the company under the promise of earning up to $15,000.

The moment I saw that a few years back I actually cancelled our normal Hello Fresh subscription.
