wait WHAT
What
Oh
Well well well.
This has been enlightening, I must now go scream internally.
What are you people talking about
Aren’t you supposed to stare directly into the retinas when saying very important stuff?? Isn’t that eye contact
I mean generally looking at someone’s face is good when you’re talking to them but I never called that eye contact
It’s just the thing you do to tell them “I am listening intently”
Staring at someone’s retinas is saying “I am listening to you with my absolute attention/you should be listening to me with your absolute attention”
You’re supposed to use the first option most of the time only accented by the second, right?
