Keir Starmer this week told everyone in the UK to brace themselves for tough times ahead of the Autumn budget.

I’ve just came back from Asda, a single can of Heinz soup is currently costing £1.70.

Everyone involved in that can of soup costing £1.70 should be dragged in front of inquiry.

I made a post a while ago lamenting this - £1.70 for soup is taking the piss but I’ve been to every shop in my area and the price is pretty much the same throughout. Milk costs £1.70 at its cheapest here. Bread no longer costs anything under £1.

Yesterday I saw my favourite kind of biscuits - which used to sell at this shop back in 2019 for £1 costing £3 now. What the fuck??? Thats a 200% increase in price.

I have no point I’m making- I just don’t want to normalise these prices.
