I’m about to change your life if this is you.

YOU NEED:

2 cups sugar

½ cup milk

½ cup peanut butter

¾ cup peanut butter

7 tablespoons cocoa powder

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

6-8 cups of quick or old-fashioned oats

Combine your sugar, milk, and butter in a saucepan on medium heat and bring to a boil. Turn the heat to low and add the cocoa and peanut butter. As soon as the peanut butter is melted, take the pan off the heat, add the vanilla, and stir in the oats a bit at a time. My mom gave me this recipe with six cups of oats; I use somewhat more. Just keep going until you’ve got the consistency you want, but be quick—this WILL harden in the pan if you let it.

Spoon out by the tablespoon onto waxed paper or parchment paper and allow to cool for 10-15 minutes.

Mazel tov, you have fudge no-bake cookies. The whole process from ingredients to ingestion takes about 20 minutes.

Mug cake for people like me who don’t like ( or can’t have) peanut butter. From allrecipes easy microwave chocolate mug cake.

¼ cup all-purpose flour

¼ cup white sugar

2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

⅛ teaspoon baking soda

⅛ teaspoon salt

3 tablespoons milk

2 tablespoons canola oil

1 tablespoon water

¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

Mix dry ingredients, then add wet. Microwave, about 1 min 45 sec, until fluffy and cake like. Ideally let it cool, but i just pour a little milk over it (be careful if its a glazed mug, I have cracked the glaze doing that.)

I use a little less sugar, but don’t go too low or it will taste bland. I add cinnamon for a little extra flavor, and maybe a splash of the end of a cup of coffee, to bump up the chocolatey-ness (and I never use water, just more milk for richness).

I don’t even measure anymore, thats how often I make this.
