Creating lists of undesirables is a Stage of Genocide.
They aren’t even justifying it anymore
Or leaving any of the good ol’ reliable deniable
This is straight up a stage of genocide
We already did stage¹ 1 of 10
Stage two hasn’t been done yet (but I remember some idiot on twitter proposing barcodes on passing trans people so it’s clearly an idea that exists) albeit a list could be a replacement for physical markers
We’re doing stage three to different degrees based on how right a state is
And stage six (media & polarization) has mostly been fueling this stuff from the beginning
The others have been mostly absent for now, but just like how trump turned friendly fascism into just classic fascism it will clearly just take another crappy president (who will eventually come) for this to transition to something less masked.
I bet the first concentration camps/equivalents will appear within 30 years if things keep flowing in their current direction, but I doubt they will. The mounting pressure on the neoliberal precedent can’t mount forever.
Which leaves things quite uncertain.
Please help trans people if you can, that is the best option we have for now.
