pros and cons to swapping gender class and gaining the trans woman gender:
pros:
Access to some groups and characters with the “LGBTQ+” trait (most useful in charisma and community checks or situations where you need a larger party)
certain side quests unlock (some will be required to continue with certain game elements)
bonus charisma on checks with certain characters
seduction checks become much easier for straight transphobic men with low perception, gay or bisexual women, and straight men
New relationship/friendship arcs unlock, some close
+5 in combat against transphobic enemies
can choose to add “boobs!” Perk
can choose to trade “penis!” Perk for “vagina!” Perk
complete a side quest with the “transition” marking for a temporary boost in all stats (labelled “euphoria” in the bonus menu)
cons:
lose access to certain religious groups and characters
charisma disadvantage when speaking to characters with “transphobic” or “homophobic” trait
seduction checks become much more challenging for gay men and straight women
certain items cost more (mostly armor and accessories, certain cursed and blessed items or cosmetics)
must undergo more side quests than most other gender classes before losing passive disadvantages with certain elements of the game (mostly charisma checks with characters that don’t have the “supportive” trait)
