a fascist is a far right ideologist. think nazis. they believe certain people are inherantly better than others because of race, class, etc.

yes. to put it very mildly.
Fascist leaders gain power by blaming preexisting problems and manufacturing new problems to blame on a certain minority group.
They dehumanise this minority group and present it as dangerous and something that (in fascism’s final form) needs to be eliminated.
For example the Nazis did that to the Jews. They pretended and convinced some of the masses that Jews were somehow responsible for everything wrong and then used the fight against them to justify basically anything they wanted.
Blaming a minority is required for fascism to function, otherwise people just wouldn’t stand it. Which is why fascists love to widen the definition of the minority they blame for everything to prolong their unsustainable power, once they get in power that is.
Now I’m sure blaming a certain minority for all of the “totally real problems” that totally affect us while ignoring the actual real problems is something familiar. Basically every right wing party that’s even a smidge more right than basic neoliberalism does it at least to some degree.
Oh also, fascists like to imagine themselves as the superior and righteous and not responsible for anything bad that’s happening
