Mom asked me what woke means, she’d heard some politician use it. I explained it as being aware that some groups in society have less advantages than others. She proclaimed herself to be proudly woke.
Apparently she’d heard a lady in our government talk shit about trans people. She used a lot of flowery language to describe this politician. The only word I feel comfortable repeating is “bitch”
