“trans men have an easier time transitioning” I want you to sit here and look me in the face and tell me how devastated you would be if, on the day of your gender affirming surgery, your doctor called you and told you “sorry we’re cancelling it and aren’t helping you get this approved even though you have the right to this help”.
And then I want you to understand that that is exactly what happened to me at 8:15am on the date I was supposed to be checking in to my top surgery at 10:30am.
