I am personally against assassination as a political tactic. I know that’s an unpopular opinion on this website but whatever. But what I have to add beyond that is that I’m kinda surprised it took this long for a serious attempt to happen. With all the rallies that guy has and how he wants his supporters to be allowed to have guns in certain locations I’d expected him to have an attempt on his life much sooner than this purely based on his own carelessness or something.
