Whenever various sources call the game Yoshi’s Island just “Yoshi’s Island”, a common objection that is raised is that this is incorrect, and that the official full title for the game is “Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island”.
However, there is one place where the game is called simply “Yoshi’s Island” without the other part of the title, namely on the top part of the cartridge sticker, seen in the image. As such, it is technically correct to call the game “Yoshi’s Island” since Nintendo themselves have referred to it as such in an official capacity.
