The criminalisation of recreational drug use is genuinely so fucking evil. It’s literally just a white supremacist/fascist campaign. And yet people cannot see that.
Like it’s so fucking obvious this criminalisation is just there to punish and destroy the lives of black and brown people, especially poor black and brown people. It’s there so the government can essentially do modern enslavement in the form of prison labour.
And in other countries that aren’t white, this demonization of drugs is anti indigenous propaganda and demonisation of people of oppressed castes and social status. To line the pockets of the corrupt politicians. How can people see this so clearly in front of their eyes and still say shit like ‘drug users are of the devil’ or whatever like are you stupid? How diligently you lick the boots of fascism every morning, noon, and night.
