A young man, Fahmi Akkila, has reached out to me and trusted me to share his story with you in the hopes that it will spark people to donate and help him get his family to safety.
He’d been a hard working man, newly engaged, doing his best to build a good life for himself, his family, and his soon-to-be bride. And the genocide has taken away everything he’s worked so hard to achieve, his new apartment, his car, his jobs. And he’s now forced to bear the responsibility of protecting his family during this crisis.

He is requesting €160,000, which will go to evacuating 7 people from Gaza into Egypt, as well as to living expenses. They have only reached €545 after months of trying to raise money.
