me teaching my pet vampire how to adapt to human society
Ghoul, cadaver, and arachnid are all true but are imperfect words.
A ghoul is not the same as a spirit, and generally refers to demons. A spirit may be a ghoul, but this is not always the case. Zombies can also be considered ghouls for examples. As such ghost is perhaps the better term.
A cadaver specifically refers to a corpse, usually one that is still whole or partly decomposed. This is largely because it is used within medical settings, and is context specific. Skeleton is the general use term for just the skeletal system of an organism.
All spiders are arachnids, not all arachnids are spiders. A general word like this is deliberately obfuscating the object in question.
The use of the word casket is just… wrong? Caskets are rectangular, coffins are tapered. The picture shown was a coffin.
However, the original video had several mistakes as well.
A haunted house is, well, a house that is haunted. A picture alone is not enough to determine that a dwelling is haunted. House is also too general a term. Manor is more specific and accurate.
A graveyard generally refers to a burial site on church grounds. In the absence of a church, cemetery is the more appropriate word.
Ghoul, cadaver, and
arachnid are all true but
are imperfect words.
Beep boop! I look for accidental haiku posts. Sometimes I mess up.
So both the pet vampire and their owner make mistakes
