Is boycotting Eurovision actually hard for some people? I’m sure it’s a bigger deal in Europe, but like. It sucks. I’ve listened to multiple winning songs in the past and they’ve all fucking sucked (special mention to Lordi, Finland’s once-winning band, who despite being a spooky-monster-themed heavy metal band, also sucked). It’s almost as if music isn’t a competition.
The amount of power that politics have over the judges decisions is quite large, to say the least.
