When my 12 year old niece came to the US for the first time she was apparently super disappointed with LA because there were too many Koreans and it just felt like home. But when she finally saw a Midwest suburb she got super excited because she was like, “All the houses are far apart just like in the movies!” Apparently she also got excited at the size of the big gulp cups at 7/11 lmao
