the easter bibly was an ingenious campaign that builds in social awareness and change to an ongoing annual tradition without detracting from what that tradition represents. the choice behind it was intentional

We still have easter bunny paraphernalia, mind you. Just walk into literally any Coles to find em. We didn’t replace the bunnies, the bilbies are just their cooler cousins.

Bilbies are just the better animal.

But yes, we do actually dislike rabbits in Australia. Elsewhere you may like rabbits, foxes and cats (not pets), here we want to kill them.

I was going to say Australia has some bad history with Rabbits.
