“She would want me to investigate Mr. Coli?!”
“Well, he didn’t seem like a bad guy. The little time he spent with them seemed nice. But, y'know, he’s still an absent father, so that bond doesn’t go too deep”
“He and Nadia are really similar, surprisingly. They liked the same music, same movies, and same themes. They are both into spooky supernatural things, so whenever he came back from a trip, he would tell her any scary things he found.
Which sounds nice! But really, I think he just liked the sound of his own voice and the attention. He treated her more like a colleague than a daughter.”
“With Simon, he was different. He wanted some type of heir for his company, like a tiny him to do stuff when he couldn’t. Simon didn’t want that, though. He likes cooking! He wants to be a cool chef! But he still said yes to anything he said in an attempt to keep his dad home.”
“And me, well, I’m best friends with Simon, so we are at each other’s house a lot. I’ve met the man.
He’s an intense dude, He used to do speedrunning when he was younger! It’s how we- uh, the thing that happened, um, happened.
And after that thing happened, he got really angry at us, so we were really surprised when we got invited here. Nadia was specifically suspicious, I think he told her something that made her want to come here so insistently”
“Why would he be angry at you three?”
“Uh… well …”
