It’s awful enough when a child dies in an accident. It’s even more awful when a child is killed due to someone’s malice. It’s unthinkable when a child is killed because someone who doesn’t even care was allowed to kill them as an afterthought with no second thoughts and no fear of justice or consequence. This will never be undone.
