Delete the post where you pretend to know what you're talking about with regards to disordered eating. Even a cursory glance at medical research and clinicians' perspectives makes it evident what you've said is wrong: the human body is entirely capable of telling the brain to eat food when the person doesn't need it. I don't want you to DM me to argue your point like you did last time we had a disagreement, delete the post and apologize.

The post you’re referring to was for the frankly alarmingly large number of people I know who demonstrably fail to feed themselves enough and feel guilty when they do because they think they’re being wasteful or selfish, they think the problems that come with chronic hunger are just what normal life feels like and sometimes they’re terrified of gaining even a little bit of harmless weight. Sorry if I wasn’t perfectly inclusive of the one in a million people alleged to chronically “over” eat but the possibility of eating “wrong” is still better to bet on than under-eating, which is both more dangerous and several times more common than qualifying as obese.

I wouldn’t have published this except I think my jaw actually dropped at the entitled way you just tried to outright order me around like you’re filing a customer service complaint and even demand I apologize for a post that only implores people to feed themselves when they feel hungry. I am in fact not wrong for saying that no matter what you googled, but either way this is not how you speak to people who obviously mean to be helpful, no matter how catastrophically incorrect you mistakenly think they are. If someone means well, you talk to them sympathetically as an equal or don’t talk to them at all. The way you worded this is the way you word something when your intent is to be aggressive and belittling. Don’t talk to anybody this way again.

Bro showed up to Tumblr like it’s Burger King lmao
