“When the Sun, anguished by her loneliness in the dark, silent space, started crying, her tears fell into the continent and they created life. Each tear left a mark, filling the land with magic, and the desire to protect it. This desire was so powerful that it would transform into its own entity, one whom would protect the lands and phenomena it was attached to. They got many names through the centuries to come, but most called them Spirits.
The Sun quickly fell in love with them and mortals (or borrowers of stardust). Plants, animals or elves, she didn’t care. They all captivated her. Each creature taking a bit of her stardust to exist. But what is a second faced against eternity? What means a lifetime to the Sun?
Driven by the desire to walk among them, the sun poured most of her power into the continent, and from it, Eki was born. Daughter of the Sun, sister of Life. Eki was a curious being, full of wonder and all the desires of her mother. She loved all creatures, but she was most captivated by mortals and their doings”

Some lore about the beginnings of my story and how the Sun and her infinite loneliness, was the main factor in the creation of the continent that everyone knows nowadays.
She also created Life and Eki! The Sun Siblings, as I like to call them. One by accident, one filled with pure love. Their story is not more than a fairytale in the continent. Mortals are prone to forget and what one day was real soon became legend.
