My kid and I were listening to something (can’t remember what) and something came up that was innocent in context and would only register as worthy of note if you know about the Omegaverse and we both flinched

Kids are eager to see adults freaked out by inappropriate things or confused about a modern fad.
When you show them that adults are just as much a part of things as they are, they lose all their power.
