so apparently it’s “ADBLOCK” (and “adblock plus”) not “ublock origin” causing the cpu issues. you should 1000000% switch to “ublock origin” if you’re still using “adblock”
AdBlock hasn’t been relevant in ages, AdBlock Plus displays what it considers “acceptable” ads, and uBlock is maintained by a guy whose first action after taking over someone else’s project was putting up his own donation link.
You want uBlock Origin specifically, and no, multiple adblockers don’t help blocking more ads and only slow your computer down.
