Crushing on a fictional character specifically in an “I want to suck their dick” way is inconvenient as hell. Like, at least an aesthetic attraction for a fictional character is actionable: the aesthetic qualities that draw you to them exist and can be engaged with. What are you going to do about a fictitious penis? At least half the time there isn’t any textual evidence that they even have one, and if they do, so what?
