UPS has reached an agreement with the Teamsters union to equip its iconic brown delivery trucks with air conditioning for the first time for new units.
The agreement, announced by UPS on Tuesday, comes as the delivery giant and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters negotiate the terms of a new contract for more than 330,000 U.S. employees. (source)

Nope! And the UPS headquarters is in the south, right in Atlanta! They fucking knew how hot it was, and still wouldn’t spend the money to give their workers basic fucking accommodations for making deliveries!
Make more demands of your employers! They won’t give you jack shit if you don’t!
Good God this seems like it could kill somebody. Imagine driving around for an entire work shift in the Atlanta heat.
Jsyk USPS (post office) drivers also don’t have AC in the LLVs. So. You know. That’s something to be aware of. I delivered for just under a year there and got the worst of both summer and winter in Georgia without AC or effective heat.
