this is so evil and morally depraved. the fact that this man was simply doing his job, got shot at, and then was left for SIX HOURS to succumb to his injuries. all the while the healthcare workers were being prevented from helping him. (update)
how is this justice? how can you still look at all of this and say this is “self defense”? that this is about “fighting hamas”. this isn’t. this was never about hamas. if it was… they wouldn’t be torturing innocent people like this. they wouldn’t prevent aid from reaching a dying man.
in fact… they wouldn’t be blocking hospitals and ambulances at all. the same thing is happening in jenin, where the sick and injured are unable to be evacuated due to restrictions by israeli occupation forces. where roads are being bulldozed and hospitals surrounded by tanks and soldiers ready to shoot at innocent people. where building are being vandalised and blown up (Al Jazeera, Mariam Barghouti). they wouldn’t graffiti walls of buildings they’ve destroyed with phrases like “we came for hummus”, nor would they make videos after destroying someone’s home, laughing at the camera while holding the victim’s photo and say: “thank you for the welcome into your home”.
