I found out today that my parents are gender abolitionists. They keep apologizing gor misgendering me and today they basically said “so why do doctors even assign a gender at birth if it has such a high probability of not being accurate later on? Shouldnt we let kids decide for themselves what they want to identify as and not force them into situations they might be uncomfortable in? None of this seems practical” And its like yeah exactly :3
