and, look, there’s no one “right” way to be a Satanist. some people are big on ritual or even magic; others include nothing of the sort. some have an aesthetic that’s all goat-y & skulls; others don’t even wear black
BUT
if you take a story that’s about rejecting the eternal hierarchies of an omnipotent tyrant, and your takeaway is “smash every enemy weak enough to be smashed, lick every boot more powerful than you"—it could be there are better figures to use for religious inspiration, ya know?
